Here are some photos taken while the copper foiling was done for this lamp. The lamp mold is covered with some
GSE bees tacking wax, which holds the glass pieces. The bronze casted crown is fixed directly on the lamp mold
by using 4 Nipples, which go through 4 smaller wholes in the lamp mold. The loops on the 4 nipples will take the
chain later on which the shade will hang for soldering. (looks a bit like Mickey Mouse of Disney, doesn' it.)
There is one larger whole in the center of the mold for the heavy axle in the center, which is part of the crown.
All of the glass pieces are foiled now
and sitting in the right place for soldering. The chains for hanging the
shade are installed.
Everything is ready for soldering here, the bronze casted lamp base is completed also.
