Soldering of the upper portion of the shade:
 

The shade is fixed on the single chain, which comes from the ceiling. This one is adjustable in length. I keep the shade in balance on

my knees in any angle (depending on the length of the chain I chose) while soldering. So I have my hands free for soldering iron and tin.

Next Morning: the shade is soldered ready and can be seperated from the mold. The loops and the nipples (Mickey's "ears")

have been removed allready and the additional wholes are in use now, which carry the crown and lamp only. (not longer crown and mold)
