We are using the "larger soldering equipment" for this shade. Two of our 150Watt irons for the connection of the Bronze crown to the glass
pieces and 3 of the regular Ersa electonic
irons help to do this job in a appropriate time frame.
The Fan is running on 120 Volts, this is just strong enough to keep away the dust of soldering, but it does not
cool down the shade too much.
First of all the connection Bronze to Glass will be solderd. Here you can see the "cleaning up effect" of the soldering flux on the copper plated surface.
The entire bronze - to - glass connection is done here. Now the rest of the glass pieces can be soldered ready with the electronic irons.
You can see the additional wholes in the lamp mold here, which will be used (to hang the shade only) when the lamp
will be seperated from the mold tomorrow.
